$315$629.99
2 drawer metal lateral file 36″ wide. FEATURES INCLUDE: * Heavy duty full pull designer cabinet at an affordable price * Reinforced heavy gauge steel construction * Safety features include counter weights and an interlock system to prevent tipping * Standard with factory installed lock and hanging bars * Meets or Exceeds ANSI/BIFMA Performance Standard
The counterweight safety feature is what sold me—it stays put even when both drawers are yanked open full, which matters in a busy home office. Plus the gauge steel feels genuinely sturdy for the price, not flimsy like some cheaper cabinets I've assembled.
The drawer slides are butter-smooth even with heavy folders stacked in, and the counterweighted safety design gives me real peace of mind in a busy home office. That 36-inch width fits my hanging files perfectly without any overhang. Solid buy for the price.
Assembling this took an afternoon, but the heavy gauge steel frame feels rock solid once it's together. The two drawers glide out fully and smoothly, even with a full load of hanging files, and the counterweight keeps it from tipping when I pull both open at once. Exactly what I needed for the home
